A full day of chess, community, and celebration
Two sections, serious games, new friendships, and a room full of young players giving every round their best.
On August 29, 2026, 39 children—including seven girls—joined us at Etobicoke Olympium for the Victory Etobicoke Youth Open.
Players competed in the U1300 and U1700 sections over five CFC-rated rapid rounds, shared complimentary pizza and juice, and finished the day with trophies, chess sets, gift certificates, and plenty of proud moments.
